From my own experience, I know I thrive on opportunities to be creative in both my professional and personal life. Interestingly I have found that just allowing myself to have fun and be creative can be really hard work at times and I have come to realise the absolute value of keeping occupational balance in my life. Occupational balance can be another term for what is often called ‘life/work balance’, where all aspects of ourselves including our creative selves are valued and balanced in order to maximise our health and wellbeing, and the health of our relationships.
Also once you manage any self doubt or self criticism, you are more likely to be able to develop real and workable plans to enrich your personal and work life. I provide support to both challenge and nurture you to help you realise your potential in this way.

Janet qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the London School of OT in 1976 and has a strong interest and experience in mental health rehabilitation. She also works as a case manager and expert witness for people with traumatic brain injury. Janet sings with an a cappella sextet and enjoys reading, writing, playing with colour and doodling. She and her husband have two grown up sons.
